Luigui Bleand Returns to the Music Industry

UNITED KINGDOM, 24 September 2026 — Luigui Bleand is returning to the music industry. The Dominican artist and producer confirmed the decision today in an official statement from his communications team, issued from the United Kingdom, just over 21 months after he announced a pause in his music career.

That announcement came on 17 December 2024. It gave no timeframe and no return date.

What it did give was a direction: new creative and business areas outside the entertainment industry. As reported at the time, after more than a decade in music he wanted to renew his creative drive and explore business models away from market pressure. His official channels stayed active.

New music did appear in the meantime. On 23 January 2026, just over a year after the pause was announced, he released the single “Todo Se Olvida”, which carries a Bleand Style Recordings / IL LOKO Assets credit. The formal return comes eight months after that.

By his own count, he returns with fifteen years of records behind him, from the first Dominican mixtapes to what he describes as the catalogue era.

Among the releases before the pause are three collaborations. “La Maquinita”, with Nfasis, was released on 1 October 2018. Nearly four years later, on 3 September 2022, came “Lo' Prieto”, with Musicologo The Libro. “Mueve Eso”, with La Perversa, followed on 30 January 2023, less than two years before the pause was announced.

Then there is “AM BACK”. Bleand has confirmed that the forthcoming album will be out very soon. It was recorded in the Dominican Republic in 2023, the year before he announced the pause, and will now arrive on the other side of it. No release date or tracklist has been announced yet.
